Rebuilding Together Cleveland helps local homeowner
(Plain Press, September 2007) The house of Darleen Noonan on W. 57th Street was one of five homes citywide to be rehabilitated on July 25th as part of Rebuilding Together Cleveland’s annual Rebuilding Day. The Cleveland group is part of a national organization dedicated to rehabilitation and repair of homes of low-individuals, particularly the elderly and disabled.
About fifty volunteers from Key Bank, URS (engineering and architectural consultants) and Cleveland Catholic Diocese’s St. John Cathedral and St. Peter’s Church helped to paint, repair and do some landscaping at Noonan’s house.
Donations of supplies for Rebuilding Together Cleveland’s Rebuilding Day came from the corporate community. Many companies also contributed volunteers. Citywide, 250 volunteers participated in the Rebuilding Day.
