Living Miracles move to new location

(Plain Press, October 2006) Bridgeway’s Living Miracles, a peer support group for individuals struggling with mental illness, now has a new home of its own at 1581 W. 117th Street. The new site is funded by the Cuyahoga County Mental Health Board and is staffed by Bridgeway, a community-based mental health care provider.

Formed in 1999, Living Miracles offers friendship, support and motivation to its members through daily support meetings and regular social outings. Through the power of peer support, Living Miracles members have successfully helped each other work towards independence, stability and personal triumph over their illnesses. Prior to the move, the group met at several different locations on Bridgeway’s campus at W. 83rd and Detroit Avenue.

The group meets Monday through Friday from 5-8 p.m. Individuals from across the community that are receiving mental health services in Cuyahoga County are welcome to attend. Interested individuals should call 221-6323 for more information.
