Newest School Board Member

(Plain Press, February 2006) Tremont resident John Moss is the newest member of the Cleveland Board of Education. Moss, who works in the field of investment planning, has been active in Ward 13 politics and in Tremont neighborhood organizations. His wife, Karen, is a Tremont West Development Corporation board member. Board of Education Chair Lawrence W. Davis has assigned Moss to the task of examining how to revive the Bond Accountability Commission promised to voters when a bond issue to repair the schools was placed on the ballot. Moss replaces Magda Gomez, who chose to resign last year at the end of her term on the board.
