Stockyards Redevelopment Organization moves

(Plain Press, June 2004) Stockyard Redevelopment Organization has moved its office to 6605 Clark, Suite # 101 . The new offices are located in the old Pilsener Brewing building, on the same floor as Don’s Auto Supply.

Stockyard Redevelopment Organization (SRO) serves the area from W. 82 nd to W. 44 th from Denison to I-90. It also now serves the area between W. 44 th and Ridge Road south of Denison and north of Brookside Park. SRO’s offices were formerly located at 3200 W. 65 th. The organization’s phone number remains the same, 961-7687.


Legal Aid closes West Side office

On May 20th the Plain Dealer reported that the West Side office of Legal Aid office at 3408 Lorain was closing “after more that 30 years of serving low income clients.” The article states that staff from the West Side office will move to Legal Aid’s downtown office at 1223 W 6th. Legal Aid staffers say the phone intake system will allow better service over the phone. Services will be available in both English and Spanish. CMHA moves housing application office

The Plain Dealer reported on May 20 th that the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority’s housing application office on Church Avenue is moving to the Carl B. Stokes Social Services Mall at 6001 Woodland Avenue. The new office was scheduled to open on May 26th.
