About Neighborhood News!

Neighborhood News began in April 2004 as a FREE dynamic e-newsletter complement to the NeighborhoodLink website for persons living, working, or simply interested in Cleveland's neighborhoods to access news, events, and other information. Since then, Neighborhood News has became a feature that over one thousand people receive in their email inbox each week.

Through Neighborhood News, we ultimately seek to:
- Promote Cleveland's neighborhoods.
- Illustrate that positive change is occurring in local neighborhoods, and that
there is presently a great effort on the part of persons and groups dedicated to facilitating this change.
- Familiarize readers with the geography of Cleveland's neighborhoods and associate locations with neighborhoods
- Provide support to nonprofit organizations, community groups, block clubs, advocate groups, and citizens engaging in the betterment of their neighborhoods.
- Encourage persons to visit, experience, and learn about the neighborhoods of Cleveland.
- Promote community and citizen participation of all persons.
