Methods of Offering Services

Programs are designed to build economic and financial literacy within the context of a school's everyday curriculum. Economic concepts are intertwined with other social studies content areas, reading and math with age appropriate lessons and activities. Programs help build a child's ability to make rational, reasoned decisions about spending, saving and investing, careers, civic responsibilities and issues related to the global economy.

Mission and/or Goals
EconomicAmerica, Cleveland Center, an Ohio non-profit corporation organized in 1973, is dedicated to improving our youth's understanding of economic principles and the global economy. Working with teachers and school systems in Northeast Ohio the Center strives to prepare students to be knowledgeable consumers, prudent savers and investors, productive members of the workforce, responsible citizens and effective participants in the global economy. EconomicsAmerica, Cleveland Center is affiliated with the National Council on Economic Education (www.ncee.net) and the Ohio Council on Economic Education (www.ocee.org).
