Program Description

Catholic Charities Housing Opportunities (CCHO) initiates and participates in housing and community development projects, owns and manages property, and offers housing counseling services and related programs. CCHO is a HUD certified housing counseling agency through its affiliation with Catholic Charities USA. CCHO provides a wide range of housing counseling services with a particular focus on homeownership. We operate a downpayment assistance program linked to pre- and post-purchase homeownership counseling. Educating our clients about finances and budgeting is a critical element of our work.

Not for individuals, although we do contract with financial institutions and government entities for homeownership counseling.
