Mission and/or Goals

The mission of Burten, Bell, Carr Development, Inc. is to enhance the quality of life for residents of our service area by creating a model community comprised of new and improved housing. Our agency serves an area populated with residents having the highest poverty rate, the greatest number of public housing units, and the lowest rate of home ownership. Since housing development is our primary activity in the geographic area with previously stated statistics, we identified a gap in the existing 1-day/2-hour education being offered by banks, and other agencies, adopting the objective of presenting instruction more comprehensive and thorough.
