The   West   Village   Council

About  Us

Started in 1996 through  ( CCBI )   Cleveland Community Building  Initiative.   The  West Village  of  Cleveland  is  a
dynamic community of architectural structures, a healthy
mix  of  commerce  and  industry,  material  resources   to
boast   of,   and   indefatigable   and    enduring   human resources.

To many West Village residents, businesses and even to
others  in  Cleveland  the  resources  and  riches  of   the
West  Village  are  a  secret.    There  are   more  religious
institutions,   neighborhood   groups   and    associations,
community  organizations  and  human  service  agencies
concentrated in the  West Village  than anywhere else in
the  city  of  Cleveland.

Empowering  residents  to   help  themselves  and  work
with   others   to   make   this    neighborhood   a   better
place  for  all  to  live,  work  and  raise   children.
