Do you know a woman whose life has been affected by alcohol and other drugs, homelessness, domestic violence and/or poverty?

If so, call Women's Alliance for Recovery Services at 216-575-9120 or e-mail us at wars2012@yahoo.com. We are a private, non-profit agency funded by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.

We, at Women's Alliance, believe that a successful recovery requires a holistic approach that concerns itself with all aspects of a woman's condition, including physical, emotional, spiritual, social, cultural and economic factors.

Our services are also culturally specific to meet the needs of Latina women.

Women's Alliance provides screening and referral services to women in these areas:

  • detoxification
  • outpatient treatment
  • residential treatment
  • sober housing
  • prenatal care
  • support groups
  • safe shelters
  • legal advice
  • outreach and educational services
  • childcare services

Through its educational programs, Women's Alliance addresses a wide variety of topics including:

  • assertiveness in recovery
  • HIV/AIDS
  • effects of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs during pregnancy
  • understanding alcohol and other drug relapse
  • dealing with cultural diversity
