Detroit-Shoreway
The Detroit-Shoreway Neighborhood is located on the west
side of Cleveland and is bordered by Lake Erie and the Shoreway to the north, I –90
to the south, and stretches between West 45th and West 85th streets. Detroit-Shoreway
boasts a diversity of races and cultures, living in harmony within a stable community. A
great place for city living, in recent years Clevelanders have invested in and
rehabilitated housing throughout the area. With two public libraries and several public
and private schools within its boundaries, quality education in the Detroit-Shoreway area
is close at hand. Recreation centers, Edgewater Park, theater and arts, and diverse
shopping and dining options provide residents, workers, and visitors a quality of life
unlike any other in the city.
